Practical guides for parents of young performers
Nobody taught my parents how any of this worked.
I’m Cameron Bright. I booked my first role at 5, a few weeks after my first kids’ acting class, and kept working through the next decade. These are the plain, practical guides I wish my family had at the start: what to check, what to ask, and what can wait.

Who wrote these
From the outside, it looked like everything was going right.
From the inside, nobody was teaching my parents anything. We got some of it right by instinct and some of it badly wrong: money that should have been protected, a manager we trusted too long, and a silence when the roles slowed down that nobody warned us about. These guides are built from those parts of the industry.

Questions parents ask first
Can I fill in the worksheets on my phone?
Yes. The worksheets are real, fillable form fields. Open the PDF in a PDF app that supports forms (Adobe Acrobat Reader is free on computers, tablets and phones), type or tick right on the page, and save. Some browsers’ built-in viewers don’t save typed answers, so download the file first.
Which countries do the guides cover?
Guides that cover laws, money, unions or schooling are written for the U.S., UK, Canada and Australia. The Self-Tape, Burnout and Rejection Resilience guides cover skills that are the same everywhere.
If I buy a $19 guide now, do I lose that money when I upgrade?
No. Each guide has an upgrade code printed near the end that credits what you paid, so on every upgrade path your total for everything is $149. The On-Set & Homeschooling Kit and Rejection Resilience sit beside the ladder and each come with $10 off the Complete System instead. How upgrades work
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. These are instant digital downloads. If a file is broken, I’ll fix or replace it.
