The Complete Stage Parent System
The whole system in one guide: eleven tools in five parts, plus the Companion Tracker spreadsheet and a fillable Milestone Certificate.

I booked my first role at 5, a few weeks after my first kids’ acting class. By fourteen I’d carried a supporting role in a franchise that ran for years. My screen credits include Birth, Thank You for Smoking, X-Men: The Last Stand and three films in The Twilight Saga. From the inside, nobody was teaching my parents anything. We got some of it right by instinct and some of it badly wrong: money that should have been protected, a manager we trusted too long, and a silence when the roles slowed down that nobody warned us about.
This guide is built from the parts of this industry that actually strain families. Start with whichever chapter matches where you are right now.
What’s inside: eleven tools in five parts
- Part One, Getting Started: 1 The First 90 Days Roadmap · 2 Is This Agent Legit? · 3 The Coogan Account & Money Basics
- Part Two, Submitting & Auditioning: 4 The Self-Tape Setup Guide · 5 The Casting Breakdown Decoder · 6 The “Should We Take This?” Decision Framework
- Part Three, Sustaining the Journey: 7 The Audition-Ready Weekly Routine · 8 Burnout Warning Signs & Check-Ins
- Part Four, On the Job: 9 The Resume & Headshot Prep Kit · 10 What to Expect on Set
- Part Five, Looking Ahead: 11 The Teen Transition
- A “Start Here” page that matches what’s happening this week to the right chapter
- FAQ, an appendix with every checklist in one place, an International Quick-Reference, and a Sources & Verification page
Chapters only in this edition: 3 (Money Basics), 10 (What to Expect on Set) and 11 (The Teen Transition). Chapter 8 (Burnout Warning Signs & Check-Ins) is also sold on its own as the Burnout Warning Signs mini-guide. Chapters 1–2 also appear in the Clarity Kit, and Chapters 4, 6, 7 and 9 in the Toolkit. Chapter 5 appears in both, with a different approach in each.
Where it applies
Chapters 2, 3 and 10 and the International Quick-Reference cover the U.S., UK, Canada and Australia, including trust-account rules such as the five U.S. Coogan states and the Ontario and BC rules. The rest is practical and works anywhere.
Who it’s for
Families who want the entire journey mapped in one place, from the first audition through the years when the industry starts to change.
What it isn’t
It doesn’t include The On-Set & Homeschooling Coordination Kit or Rejection Resilience, which are sold separately. It isn’t legal, tax or financial advice, and it doesn’t replace a lawyer, an accountant or the rules where you live.

Questions
I already own the Burnout mini-guide. Is Chapter 8 different?
No. It’s the same content, which is why BURNOUTCOMPLETE credits the full $19.
What do I open the Tracker in?
Any spreadsheet app that opens .xlsx files. Type in the blue cells, and the formulas fill in the rest.
Which upgrade code do I use?
The one printed near the end of the guide you own. Upgrade codes are printed near the end of each guide (just before the Sources page). A code works only if you already own the guide it’s tied to. Sign in to Gumroad with the email you bought it with, then enter the code at checkout. One code per product.

These guides are educational. They are not legal, tax or financial advice, and they don’t replace a licensed professional or the rules where you live. Laws, union rules and fees change, so confirm current details with the relevant authority or union before you rely on them. The facts in this edition were checked on 5 October 2026, and the sources are listed at the back of the guide.
The “Example” boxes are illustrative composites of common situations, not stories about specific real families.
